Hint: The Aggressor order of battle book series above
set up some of the most fantastic scenenios in all of wargaming
history. Without really naming the Soviet Union as the aggressor
force (in the 1950's they were called the "Circle Trigon"
and spoke Esperanto) they supplied justificaton for wargame scenarios
near army bases all over the United States. You can find aggressor
forces in California for example. They even supply aggressor
unit names with commanders and unit histories. The Handbooks on
Aggressor military forces keep pace with Soviet Tables of organization
and equipment of their respective time period.
